With the announcement of the new Women's Professional Soccer   League kicking-off in 2009, we're hoping to help better prepare those who are seeking a shot at the next level.

Mahalo to all the W1 teams that participated this past weekend and helped make MISO history on the inaugural day of the W1, by becoming the first women’s teams to participate in MISO! The opening weekend seemed to be a success with 2 good games, and the league already received interest from a 5^th team to join for next season. Here are some opening weekend quotes from W1 players, coaches and referees:
